Ajuga reptans Black Scallop

An evergreen hardy perennial with dark blackish glossy serrated leaves, a short spike of deep blue flowers appears from late spring and summer. Ajugas prefer full to part shade (avoid full sun). Best under trees, hedges or tall shrubs, if planted in containers place out of hot sunlight in summer.
