Chionodoxa forbesii Violet Beauty

A perennial bulb, to around 15cm high, with pairs of strap-shaped green leaves. Upright stems bear small clusters of upward-facing, starry pale purple flowers with paler centres. Great for naturalizing beneath deciduous trees where they can flower prior to being covered by the leaf canopy, Plant in full sun or part shade in well drained soils.
