A perennial bulb, to around 15cm high x 5cm spread, with broadly linear basal leaves, and upright stems bearing clusters of up to three starry white flowers in spring Closely related to Scilla, Chionodoxa are an excellent choice for rockeries or for borders, and can be left to naturalise over time. They will establish quickly and will flower in February to April, producing a breath-taking carpet of white. 5/6cm bulbs supplied.
Suitable for rockeries, containers or front of borders.
Plant Chionodoxa bulbs 5cm deep and 5cm apart. As the bulbs are so small, plant en-masse for a floriferous effect! Position in well-drained soil and ensure they will receive plenty of sunlight once in bloom.
