Ornithogalum balansae

A bulbous perennial producing two, channelled, mid-green leaves to 10cm long. In spring it produces an erect flowerstalk bearing an open cluster of starry, white flowers with a green blaze on the outer centre. Plant in any well-drained soil in full sun, at a depth of 10cm.  Native to the Balkans to Iran.
