Oxalis adenophylla

A bulbous perennial forming a clump to 10cm tall and 15cm in width, with greyish leaves composed of several narrow, heart-shaped leaflets, and solitary, bright rosy-pink flowers in late spring, paler in the centre, with a purple throat. The flowers close at night.  Plant bulb to a depth of 7cm in shade to part-shade, tolerates most soil types including clay. Native to Chile and Argentina.
